ST1550 series Advanced type Externally Modulated CATV optical transmitter adopts low noise, narrow bandwidth, and continuous wave laser as its light source. It uses high linearity LiNbO3 external modulator to modulate signal. It eliminates the Chirp Effect of 1550nm direct modulation laser.
